Excitedly Overwhelmed

Overwhelmed - Yes -
Excited - even more so!
Guess that means I am excitedly overwhelmed with the thought of raising $14,000 for a service dog.
So - trying to organize everything we have to get together - web pages, places to donate, pictures of kids, stories about the boys, letters, etc. AAUUGGHHH!!
~MORE TO DO~

~more updates, more links to click on, more cute stories...
~more doubt, more frustration...
~more prayer, more trust , more reliance on God...
~More of God shining through.

A prayer ... from a friend

Saturday mornings are for SLEEP IN ...
I never get to sleep. I always have someone awake...walking through the house. So, sleep is very precious to me.
But I work hard to get kids to sleep... and NOT get up at 5 am on Saturday morning.
That didn't work so well for me today. Four little boys decided to get up and play at 5 am.
Momma decided they could scrub my kitchen floor and clean my patio.
This is not the way they planned on spending their Saturday morning.
Maybe they will sleep in till 6 am tomorrow?

My head knows, my heart struggles ... Never Once!
Once again, Elizabeth is back into the hospital, Lincoln Prairie Behavioral Health Center. This time, she choose to go, it wasn't forced.
So, she is growing up just a bit - asking for help with her mental illness. GOOD JOB Little Lady.
This is #5. The fifth time she's been in a psych hospital. The first time she agreed to go ... wanted to get help.
That doesn't make it any easier. It still sucks. It hurts. My baby girl.
Pastor Rick Warren lost his son to mental illness right after Easter this year. He says that they had 'the best people praying....' so do we. Elizabeth is not miraculously fixed. Neither was Matthew, their son.
My heart aches. Still. My head knows, God is in control. God is good...all the time. God cares. My heart struggles.
My head knows - NEVER ONCE has God left me.... trying to move that to my heart.
